Tasty Flapjack!

Well, believe it or not it is 10.15am when I am writing this and my 17 year old daughter is up and in the kitchen making flapjacks with her 5 year old brother!  (Who says miracles dont happen hey!)

Anyway, thought you might like the recipe as it is so easy to do ………

150g Butter,  50g Caster Suger, 4 tbsp Golden Syrup, 275g Rolled Oats.

1.  Preheat the oven to 190°C  and grease & line a baking tray.

2.  Place butter, sugar & syrup into a pan over a low heat and stir until melted.  Pour in the oats and mix.  Press into the tin and bake for approx 20 minutes until golden brown at the edges.

This is what it should look like when it comes out of the oven, has cooled and been cut into squares!!  Whether my daughters turns out that good – who knows!  I will try and be brave later and let you know.
