It’s Finished!

At last the patchwork quilt is finished!

Mum’s already asking when I’m going to start on hers and my daughter is constantly wrapped in it, so at least it was worth it.

Feels a bit strange not having anything to do now so maybe I’ll start on Mums in the week (her birthday isnt until July so I have plenty of time!) x

Patchwork Update!

If anyone saw my post that I wrote about the patchwork that I started with my daughter, then here’s an update, Its Growing!!

We are now up to 324 squares stitched together! I find myself sitting up at night stitching away and not being able to put it down!

We’re probably about half way really but it needs to be double bed size. The great thing now is that when im sat working on it, its big enough to keep me warm at the same time!!

Hi Everyone,

I’ve spent a few days out of the office this week. Have been up to Newcastle Upon Tyne (4 hour drive for me!) to attend a meeting for WSW Network with my friend & colleague Karen Rutter. For anyone who doesn’t know anything about WSW Network then have a look at www.wswnetwork.net and find out for yourself why I would spend 4 hours in the car just to get to this meeting!
